Rags Game based around rolling dice.  Slavery and other sexy elements may also occur. Also incredibly unfair with pure rng and odds stacked against you unless you're cheating with loaded dice.

Its a real shame too. its actually a pretty fun game but it starts to run into bugs pretty quickly. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it but unfortunately don't expect to be able to 'finish' a game

It seems to have promising mechanics, like using collections of talents instead of just numbers to help determine success (something I've wanted to try myself in a porn game), the many races, the potential antagonism between you and your subordinates, the body modding magic thing (forget the name)--really, there's no other slave trainer out there where you actually have to manage non-slaves subordinate to you and do the work of running a camp full of people who might throw you down. It's actually almost a bandit camp simulator, and I always thought that was a neat idea. But it's absolutely cut off at the knees by the engine. The guy is supposed to be transitioning to a less restrictive text game engine, but there's an awful lot of game functionality that he'll have to implement manually in Twine or whatever he uses. I hope it works out for him.

Yep, tried it. Trying to run RAGS just doesn't do anything. It is trying to run for about a second, and then nothing happens.

Speaking of weird feature interactions that somehow have not been noticed for months; you know how in chargen there are options for negative traits to get extra points? Like for appearance, feminine for male slavers, and beautiful for female slavers. Simple enough right.

Only, it seems like at some point between the .7 and .8 versions, it was changed such that you could only get the feminine trait in custom build if you had picked a feminine looking portrait art. Which is like, whatever i guess. But the problem is, if you do pick such a background portrait, then the trait is automatically locked in already, with no choice in whether you want it or not; and what is much worse, it doesn't actually properly provide the point bonus you would normally get for picking such a trait, either, so it's pretty much just a plain strait up mechanical penalty.
Are picture additions suggestable on the patreon? Because there desperatly needs to be one for female lizardmen
Is it possible to make it so all my slaves and slavers are female?  I like the idea of essentially two tiers of underlings, the slaves and the slavers, but I just don't really want other dudes interupting my faps.  It's not even about cuck or whatever I just don't really like having all these different dudes around

You can favor a sex for both slave and slaver roles in 'general orders'(right-click yourself in the roster), and pick a favored one for your starting camp. It'll still be an 80/20 split though, so you'd have to get used to selling untrained males for a pittance.

In character creation there is the misc option to start with more female slavers and in your preferance options you acn choose to mainly pin after female slaves.
Possible to perform self-biomancy (without using e.g. loaded dice mod?)

Whenever I try I get the message saying you're in the middle of nowhere and it's far too dangerous without the right setup, but have never found an event that would let me acquire the necessary setup.
Any updates? Love this game and it's been years I didn't play.

Haven't been updated in a couple of months but there is still art commisions for the game using the patreon shekels so I guess it's not dead yet.
Was just going to check it out myself as I haven't played since pre-0.9 so I can't tell you what's new though.

The game has been slowly improving over the years. It's still an absolute pile of jank, but if you liked it before, there's now more of it, you'll like it even more.
Unfortunately, the art has been steadily getting worse, as the dev has been phasing out the (high-quality) stolen art by PersonalAmi etc, and replacing it with his own commissioned art, which is unfortunate, because both his taste and his artistic sensibilities are beyond trash.
I still like the game and play it regularly, though. It's the only slave trainer game where things actually progress at a decent pace and you don't have to be a massive micromanaging autist to play.

Shame it's on RAGS, i finally got into this game last week and after playing a few games, finally really getting the hang of it and got invested the game starts to hang on.. infinitely...

I'm pretty sure i didn't fuck up on saving, atleast i think so. Reading fag95z it seems to be a common problem even without save corrupting that after a while, like 6-10?~ hours on the same game it just hangs up on assignments indefinitely and nothing to do about it.

Use 3.0.60.0 RAGS instead of the recommended 2.6.1.0. Everyone will recommend the earlier version but this is because they're retarded and can't computer.
3.0.60.0 has one issue, which is that it fucks up the text encoding by default, so your text will look weird. You can fix this by right click on text screen -> Encoding -> Unicode (UTF-8), which will fix it. You only have to do this once, it will persist even through new versions of the game.
Using RAGS 3.0.60.0 is both infinitely faster and much more stable than the earlier RAGS, and will likely fix the issue. There are still bugs, but you'll have a lot fewer problems.

Anyone know if there's any benefit to having a slave/slaver in the seamstress/blacksmith encampment position, rather than just buying the encampment upgrades?

I believe some slavers/slaves may have bonuses that give you better quality than the upgraded encampment upgrades.

Also, higher difficulty disables those upgrades, so you're kind of forced to budget manpower for those positions that way.

A small side note for anyone that played the old version of loaded dice, this version DO NOT include some of the following feature present in the old one:
-Gain the Mighty trait trough biomancy
-Gain multiple aspects of the same type trough corruption, leveling up still work
-Some race cannot be turn female, like lizardman
-Gaining Flight by using corruption to give yourself wings and then enlarge them

Welp... turns out I am a liar of sorts. Hardcore difficulty doesn't lock off the encampment upgrades. Thought that was the case because the only reason I've ever played "hardcore" was on the Golem Scenario, which disables those upgrades.

I do think the reason you have those upgrades is so that you don't have to dedicate your slaves/slavers to those positions, but good traits on slavers/slaves should give you better items. Or... maybe not and it's all just play style choice.

Thank you for the follow-up! Now for a follow-up of my own. I did some more detailed reading of the faq and tutorial, and it says that a slave or slaver in the positions will eventually gain the crafting trait! I'm trying it with some slaves that have creative, and will follow up once or if they get the trait.

The Regalia version lets you run No Haven in a browser. That doesn't really make No Haven any less of a hot mess, but you don't need to install rags.
Don't ask me what the difference between the lightweight and edited versions are, I don't know. You can probably figure that out if you're willing to go read the Fag95 thread about it.
