I do have some programming knowledge and I didn't have a problem messing around with Lilith's Throne a bit, but this flash shit is messing with me. There's a great guide on the fenoxo forums about how to make mods for CoC which I got somewhat working with TiTS, but it's 5 years old and I can't even get the current public build to compile. SVG? FXG? What the hell is that shit? Probably gonna have to put any real troubleshooting off until tomorrow night since I have work in the morning, but at least the basic framework is in place.

A while back one of the devs of CoC 2 posted a forum post about what people want in the game that wasn't in TiTs. I asked simply for more female characters, but most of the replies to my post were primarily negative. Claiming TiTs had plenty of female characters. This alone told me all I needed to hear, they don't want female characters. And when they do, its primarily anal anyway.

You will not be able to just wait around for a mod, none of their people will make it. You will most certainly have to do it yourself. And it will not be easy to find people to help even if you get it off the ground. The amount of people interested in this kind of project becomes less every year. There just isn't an audience for these types of games anymore aside from the fur-fags. Those that would or could do the work are better off making another western VN, at least they may be able to milk some money while doing it.

Tho, really hope it works out and you can get at least a framework in place. Actually liked what little bit of the game I played.

I was at one point modding TITS (likely one of the mod attempts you mentioned) however, I froze the project (repo is still up I think) for a couple of big reasons; lack of interest in the base game and the public repo without any warning or reasoning changed from being sporadically updated roughly" monthly to TBA (it is currently about fourteen months since the last push. With one later reason being "to focus on rewriting the code base over to JS." if memory serves).
To the surprise of no one, the "devs" had pulled have pulled this trick once before (a member of the community I was apart of was automatically releasing builds back when there was just one repo but at some point it got taken down and replaced with the public/private system citing TITS becoming the most popular flash game on github along with something else (muh unauthorized builds) if memory serves).

I would not be surprised if the rewrite "accidentally" takes far longer than expected.

TiTs has the same problems CoC does; you can't fuck half the NPCs if you have a dick bigger than your thumb, and if you actually play the game without avoiding any of the stupid transformation bullshit you'll quickly become immobilized by your own massive ass because that's fun I guess.

Also it's generally developed by people up their own asses thinking mediocre at best turnbased RPGs are good gameplay so they continually bloat the game and slow it down with tedious ass bullshit when they can't design quick or engaging UIs or combat to save their lives.

Personally, not really at all as I have massive doubts that the rewrite will be even remotely complete until after the heat death of the universe and in the extremely slim chance it occurs slightly before then that the public repo will be "accidentally" forgotten about. 

I would suggest putting your time and energy into playing Free Cities: Pregmod (which is browser-based while being truly open source via version 3 of the GPL and welcomes new contributors) and then completely optionally considering contributing.

If you still want to do so though, I can have a look to see if the local copy of my repo still exists/has not become corrupted and then attempt to make a diff of my changes (assuming I do not forget or such). Alright, in that case I'm going to try to get the current public repo compiled and working and take a look at what content is in it, and decide from there whether I want to invest any amount of time in it or not. Even if it's just a one-off that never gets updated and the public repo stays dead forever, I really enjoy the game and would like to be able to play through it and actually enjoy one or two of the girls. Easiest way I can explain it.   Fen used to have a deadline problem from getting sick and other shit for a while but fixed it since TITS launched for the most part.

Inno on the other hand has been a fucking train wreck for years and constantly misses deadlines by months.  I don't recall fen doing that with TITS.   Fen might have done that with CoC but seems like he's learned since he has been doing TITS.

I tossed him some money when he put it up on offbeater for that reason and I felt like giving him something. (also lifetime access to the newest patches was a good seller too given how long CoC went on for and TITS has currently went on.   I feel like I got more than my money's worth at this point.)

Truth be told I don't think i've even booted up TiTs in a long time because I've found other games that have taken over my time in it's place.  I think I've put more time into Inno's nuclear dumpster fire than I have TiTs the last year or so.  Not really seen anything to make me want to play TiTs in a hot minute.

Speaking of TiTs, I wish Alder would update Fall of Eden which is being hosted on Fen's site.  hasn't been updated in over a year but was decent when I played it years ago.  I'd even be more than happy of a fan worked on version like Free Cities pregmod.

The closest to unfucking TiTS anyone ever got was the 8ch/f/ edition and all that did was fix some busts.

I played TiTs a bunch of times. I never "finished it", but I am pretty sure it still gets developed and hasn't had a proper ending yet.

What I can say about TiTs is that it's disgusting. Genuinely disgusting. The amount of homosexual, transsexual, furry, weird fetish content is just too high. Most of the named NPCs are unappealing to Heterosexuals. So you basically can't interact with a very large portion of the game's content.

I wish there was a proper Fantasy Game, where sex was part of the gameplay, but the world isn't consumed by it. I hate this kind of Incel Fantasy, where every single living organism thinks you are hot and wants to fuck you. I want to WORK for it. I want to grind my strength and constitution stat to get abs and be seen as attractive by Ladies. I don't want everyone to offer me Sex and be able to have it as much as I can. And I also don't want every rape victim to fall in love with me or just ahegao love it.

And I also want some negative consquences for falling in battle. Like a Succubus should drain your stats, if you fall victim to her. An Elf might leave you with a cursed item that might future encounters with her more difficult or otherwise inhibits you. A Harpy reverse-gangbang will leave you really bruised, battered and with a broken bone.

The problem is that with these nieche games you have these spiteful mutants basically dominating the field, because they don't have a real life and spend all of their disposable income on that shit, so they get pandered to.

It would likely be easier and it has the base framework for the lore.  IMO the lore in FoE is more thought out and seems to be going somewhere.  Just wish I could knock up Kia/Kai right now in the current version =/

TiTS is going to be a moving target until fen calls it quits for that project.  This can be a nightmare since the code is going to change a lot over the lifetime of the project.  All it takes is one really bad fuck up and you can break a lot of shit if you have followed Free Cities pregmod like I have over the years.

Modding/adding content to a dead project over an active one is the better option.   Also, Fen could bitch about people changing TiTS.  Alder on the otherhand would need to come back and bitch.   Since it's been over a year since his last post and he was off for a long time before that, I don't see him coming back at this point sadly.  

Personally, I think after Covid Alder's priorities might have changed.  I don't blame him for that if that is what happened.

While I am currently looking to get into the IT field, not sure I will have the time to even tinker with things like this sadly.  Also FoE is not really something I want to throw on a resume ether if they look into the project at all for example.

Main problem for me is my creative writing sucks so at most I would likely only be good with the code part.  

Might just be easier to re-make it in a new engine given the small amount of content FoE has when compared to others like Free Cites, CoC, lilith's throne, etc..  I might just tinker with FC Pregmod and try making some mods instead, seems easier sadly.

Mika lets you fuck her at any time, but doesn't get attached to you until near the end of her quest, requiring you to gather more money then I could even use to get to that point.  There is also the manticore that only sees you as a meat dildo, until she ends up making you addicted to her poison and basically freaks out because that's the equivalent to getting married to her race.  I'd say a better description of the relationship system in that game, is that the girls love to fuck, but their blatant sex is usually just a front to hide their insecurities. As one might suspect, the master branch is behind the staging branch.
To make ripping from it easier I would suggest backing up any local changes, git resetting your copy to the public commit mentioned in the change-log and then comparing the two via tool such as meld (so src/ in my case and I also archived some unneeded directories and such).

It comes down to the difference between a a good faith designer, even if he's an idiot or bad at what he does, and a bad faith designer. Almost certainly the idea the creator of the game has in mind when he lists "design an X" as a contributor reward is that the purchaser will design something with most of the same goals that the creator himself has in mind for the function of the character in the slot. He's offloading a little of the work and giving someone with a different perspective and set of skills a chance to contribute meaningfully to a game that the contributor thinks he will enjoy--at least, that's the naive description of what's being done. Furries generally don't act in good faith to generate a concept that will work in the game and fulfill the purpose of the contribution; they tend to pick a character that already exists and modify it more or less to fit the situation, without really considering how other players of the game will accept it. 

Now, with something like Coc or Tits, there's kind of an extra wrinkle that the games were aimed straight at the lowest furry denominator, although Coc wasn't necessarily like that from day one. Those people don't really mind shitty popular fursonas or knockoffs showing up in these games. They just want gangbang fox bukkake, and if it's a furry they recognize that might just make it better. So you've got this body of people with shitty taste saying that what's going on with the game isn't all that bad, and some of them throwing money at the creator, and in that situation it's understandable if not commendable that the creator lets the money make the decisions for them.

I used third party build environment and then slightly customized it suit my needs. (See >>27477 for more details.)
My old repo (which contains everything but the upload script if memory serves) is listed here >>29601.

The publicly available repo is so far out of date (about one year plus) that de-compiling recent builds is likely to be a pain as due to how the game is built (nearly every file is included in the main) said output is a massive file.
I also doubt that the public source will be update any time soon/if ever.

Not having useful access to the updated source makes keeping in sync much more of a hassle to the point where it is very likely worth asking "why bother" espically when it is clear that the upstream "devs" have never cared about modding and are unlikely to ever stop focusing on the furry "community" who is quite willing to throw a ton of money at them regardless of anything.
It is highly likely/almost certain that the OP, went the very rational route and moved onto something else.

This leads into my next point: the only way real life sex can rival porn is if you're some sort of turbo chad who sleeps with a different woman every couple days, or you pay a different prostitute every time because you're getting that "new" factor every time, just like the chronic masturbators get from the porn, which is the biggest appeal in terms of what makes your dopamine levels shoot up. I can say for myself that I get way, way more aroused when I interact with a sexually viable girl I've never known before than a girl who I have known.

I hope I don't seem like I'm coming in here admonishing you guys. I have the same porn vice and I'm certainly no saint. I've come to these conclusions through analyzing my own porn use and trying to make sense of the why of it. An example of what I'm talking about is that I can't be the only one who can rarely jerk off to completion or even get erect at the same thing twice in a short timespan. I can if the thing in question is outstandingly arousing to me, but it won't work after the third try or so. If I give it a few months and forget about it then it'll work again.

Another thing I noticed is the more I indulge in this vice, the more depraved what I look for becomes which I end up regretting instantly after my lust passes over me. I've heard some guy say that your hair follicles survive for 3 years, even if the hair disappear. So there is a chance to return it if you lower your prolactin levels: less stress, good diet, no cooming.

Genetic determinism is also bullshit. It's not end-all-be-all, look into epigenetics. Basically, the healthier your environment and lifestyle is, the more healthy you become and that affects your gene expression. Sorry man, but it isn't. If you're fapping to porn daily, that's porn addiction. The way I test if I'm addicted to something is I quit it cold turkey for 3 months and judge how hard it was. If it wasn't hard then I conclude I wasn't addicted, if it was, then I was.
