There are no issues about feasibility that would be valid. I work with this kind of shit IRL, even if he wrote the game in an obscure framework (which, doubt it, it's web dev, nothing is too complicated in that world), people could easily port it to any system under the sun. Not to mention that pretty much everything can be made to run on Windows, so that's nothing but a pretty shitty excuse.

Git is a thing, we have repos for the era games here, ATF even hosts repos, that's a transparent log of every change made to the codebase. Programmers solved that problem decades ago. Again, a fake excuse, and you'd genuinely have to be a retard to think it has any merit either.
