I guess since it is a kid's comicbook and none of the main human cast is in the issue, they have the liberty of drawing the characters as cartooney as they want. I like it that way, since it is more relaxed and comfy, compared to the Old Marvel comics, but maybe I'm bias because I read a lot of Asterix & Obelix comics back in the day.
