Because the entire point of the fetish is to humiliate and break someone down to a spiritual level to the point that the person absolutely will not fight back, has no will to live, and will commit suicide alone in a ditch where no one can find him as a result of being cucked. To put it simply, the entire point of the fetish is to be evil, with no hint of irony or context justifying it. And that's what makes it so much worse, why people refuse to allow it to fester anywhere, and why people see it on an entirely different level from stories simply about cheating, infidelity, rape, and/or even couples just "not working out".

yes, it's certainly a villainous-centric genre, though I usually take the antagonist's POV, to that I say that the genre is designed to evoke strong emotions like jealousy & betrayal, and to which I'd say it's a common enough element in story-telling, specially love/romance stories, imo it's essentially a love triangle, albeit a dark & twisted one.
tl;dr, agree to disagree, I still think ryona, scat & or body part fucking are still far worsts than mom ntr.

It's not even a "love triangle". If it is, it falls back to the "stories simply about cheating, infidelity, rape, and/or even couples just "not working out"". The purpose' of NTR is to DESTROY the cuck in the story. That doesn't work if he walks away and thinks the bitch is not worth it.
