This old Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends flash game lets you create your very own imaginary friend using a set of prebuilt body parts you can drag around, recolor and resize.
Here's my first creation using this tool, I repurposed a bunch of random body parts to serve as hair and other details to create this creature.
You can play it online here, make something cool and post it! Also available on Flashpoint which is what I am using to play it.

I also don't really understand how to run this game on my standalone flash player, it seems to require some custom launch command or something of the sort.

Your friend came out very nicely.

Why was my post edited, chobitsu?
I just linked to a site which is linked in the actual Flashpoint archive

What's sketchy about that?

Presuming this is the post you're referring to : ( >>2612 (OP) ), then three reasons. First, you spammed cross-board links; don't do that. Second, Flash can be a very sketchy platform today; it's at least reasonable to be wary of it from unknown sources. Third, you left a hotlink to a site that is obscure at best. Given that I simply disabled that hotlink, I'd say I was rather moderate in response.

I apologize for the cross-board links but it's the only way to get any sort of activity going. As for Flash being a sketchy platform today, this site and any other with Flash content nowadays uses Ruffle which runs inside a WebAssembly browser sandbox and its written in Rust, therefore accounting for its memory safety guarantees, effectively eliminating Flash's vulnerabilities altogether.

By this site, I referred to the flashpoint website.

FWIW flashpoint is probably the biggest flash archive these days, even if that oooo domain is not that well known (you can download the whole shit, it's only 2.28TB).
Plus what >>2617 said, you don't have flash these days unless you go out your own way and use a browser which still supports npapi (not sure if anything besides pale moon still does that), and binary patch the flash plugin to remove the timebomb. Ruffle is running as a webassembly blob, it's not more insecure than any random website with javashit.

It's OK in this case. A little organic shilling is fine as long as you don't go overboard with it. We do it ourselves for Christmas, and everyone knows it's a yearly festival event. Given my concern over Flash as a platform itself, the combination of the 3 issues needed a response I deemed (in my admitted ignorance).

Fair point, and fully-granted. I'm quite ignorant of the ins & outs over Flash today -- my sole interest in it is our own @gta (founder & longtime-BO of /f/ across 3 different sites during the past). He's our second-in-command over at /robowaifu/ these days. My actions ITT were/are guided solely by my concern over the welfare of Trashchan & it's Anons.

* Humorously enough, we just had posts over the past couple days with regard to this language; I was able to reiterate my opinion of ((( rust ))). Confer:
