Some people wanted to just revert it back to the old theme of "corruption and demons" and some people wanted to expand the existing content. You are going to want to download the source code from the link up top. It is written in action script 3. I'm the wrong person to ask how to code, but I managed to make a functional scene and edit by looking at other files that did the thing i wanted it to do then copying that and editing it, I was then politely informed by others what i should fix when i dropped a link to the json file, though you could probably just do a paste.moe link with the code in it for review. you can try googling for some guidance on as3, but I tend to get overwhelmed trying to learn new coding languages, personally I learn better by doing and learning from my mistakes as i go.
And if you do end up coding maybe one of the senior code monkeys can give you some guidance on the current objectives. This is from a few months ago now but I was told this

You could also have your other camp members help you build up the camp by doing things like building a castle/  cathedral complete with a graveyard and towers. In the end of each week you would basically be charged a certain amount of gems, wood, stone, and nails in addition to needing to build stuff yourself. At the end of each week you decide on a new project to build like a purified water pool or a dungeon or a most ECT. Som of the projects might need to be repeated a few times so you because you added more stuff to your home. Projects like where you might have built a most but you later expand now you need to build an additional part for a most. I could also see you as your character having to fight this set of waves of enemies every so often after you get the castle/ cathedral to a certain point in development. You might want to build up a city that you use for gathering resources or possibly even making a place to buy and sell almost anything you can buy in other locations. You could possibly get a few shop vendors to go to work in your camp and all sorts of interesting ideas. You might even be able to get some of the characters from one of the settlements to join your camp for a while or perhaps permanently.

Nothing wrong with dreaming big but take a moment and think about the process needed for any of this to happen and how much work it would be. Well, i am working right now in implementing the new scenes of Akky. The thing is that now you can encounter Akbal (in the form of Akky) after finish his quest if you curse him but now take him like a pet.
The thing is, there is some flag to check if Akbal is cursed or dead already? There is a couple of flags for him like AKBAL_FUCKERY without a comment to explain what saves, and well I don't want to create a new flag for this if there is already one doing the work.

It would be best to avoid flags as much as possible. Use existing ones when appropriate of course (though it can often be a good idea to abstract them behind other functions, which is already done in a lot of places), but I wouldn't add new usages of flags.
Even if you do decide to add a new flag for whatever reason, repurposing an old flag is a pretty bad idea, it's risky and potentially messy, and there's practically unlimited room for new flags so no reason to reuse one. I am suffering right now with the damn debugging settings, Visual Code? Set. Extensions of Action Script? Set. AIR SDK? Set, version 50.2.1.1.
But when I do a debugging build it fucking explodes and visual studio says to me that there is 50 errors in the code in sections I haven't touch, is frustrating. And because I don't have right now all set up my commits have errors easily detectable I have done a little testing.

Like I said before I wouldn't be able to actually code it but I would be happy to as much of the writing for her as I could in addition to a few scenes involving some of your other camp companions and even a trip to teldear and so on. I would simply need to know what all I would need to do for her and possibly other companions or say a scene involving another character or enemy or something like that. I think there is some great potential with the moths and possibly a few other characters like the demon you encounter with Deloris could be used to make the moths able to produce lots and lots of children or something like that.

If you are willing to do all the writing I would say check the writing guide and then look at one of the finished scenes yet to be coded as a example piece. Once you have an idea of what writing a scene looks like you can go for it, but I would strongly advise against having your first project be something as large as a new companion from scratch. Instead I would recommend starting with something small, maybe just the first encounter with the character you have in mind? Just focus on doing one scene where you meet this potential companion of yours and try to get that finished, don't even focus on recruiting till you have a handle on writing a scene. Maybe after that make a lewd scene with them or something then you can focus on making a recruitment path for them later. As for coding it is standard practice not to code your own writing. You have someone else proof read it, you make corrections based on the feedback and when it passes proofing it gets put up on the to-do list of the coders who will eventually get to it but you will have to be patient.
So yeah, read the writing guide in the documents listed in the OP, reference another finished piece to get an idea of psuedo-code, Write a rough draft of just one scene paste it to paste.moe or similar and link it here, then wait for someone to proofread it. Fix any errors pointed out by the proofer. Once it's proofed with no errors put up the final version saying it is ready for coding.

Hello all, i'm a new anon to the scene that's been looking to find something easy to begin, and couldn't help but notice that there's a half finished "Build A Library" paste that's been heavily WIP for quite some time. Though it's probably not something anyone's looking for at the moment, basic construction seems like a simple task to start with writing.
Given that it's currently held by a "Chronicler", what's the etiquette when it comes to adding onto another's work? Would it be best to ask Chronicler directly or just directly copy and cite his work into another moe and continue from there?

My initial plans for it were to become a place to collect and store the various books, diaries, scraps, scriptures, and tidbits you can find along your journey that get left behind currently (some of them have been made available to be taken and used somewhere else than this, though, which does throw a slight wrench in things if they're no longer available for people, but whatever). That, and have a place for someone like Izma read in peace, store her trunk of books, and perhaps even help in the education of your children if someone were inclined to write that.

If you want it to be worth implementing at all it can't simply be built and done with. You'd need to write and account for proper uses like I cited earlier as well. Maybe simple, but it could be more than a handful of work if done well.

I don't remember if I explained this in the paste or in my post when I made it, but the reason I put it on an elevated platform somewhat near the stream was for Izma to have a better time with it and prevent any water damage if (rain and weather is an iffy situation in this game and one often better worked around than with for many inconsistency reasons)the stream did ever flood. Problem is that I'm a terrible writer to begin with. All I'm good for is being a UI jockey, and any writing I've contributed and put into the game has been small an uneventful. I don't think I'd ever finish this particular piece, however much I'd like it for improving the game and opening up more reward space via lootable literature and camp engagement.

If this is something you want to see and work on, you could decrease the scope and simply work on constructing the building, workshopping what kind of books, diaries, or whatever else on paper is in the game and could be taken to it (and writing small scenes for picking them up and putting them in the library), and create the interior where they can then be read. The manor, for one, has several cases where there is salvageable reading material, books can be bought from Izma for your personal bookshelf (not sure how to consolidate a library with the now existing bookshelf or if that's necessary, since these fulfill the same purpose to some extent), and there are probably other sources yet that I'm leaving out. I suppose the Codex should also be openable in it.

I'm sure there are much smaller, easier things to start off with, though. The best advice for a new writer is to dip their toes in with something minor and easy and work their way up from there once they get the hang of it. Be it a sex scene, a single time random event for an area, whatever works for you. If you need any advice I'll try to ring in.

They can write whatever they want, I was just giving a direction I thought would be fairly simple. I just don't see how that wouldn't be a simple enough place to start writing with characters, not having to establish a new one and not using one with any established character.

Since I replied to someone yesterday I figured I might as well try to keep going to some degree with a question. Try to answer as it would help me keep going with my design.

Would people prefer to have static headers (the big PERKS and line under it at the top) like in image 1 where only the perks list itself scrolls, or like in image 2 where the header is part of the list and gets scrolled off? My design choice previously was to have it static so it can be used across menus that look similar (shops, the Codex (which already has headers), etc.) and have you always be able to easily tell where you are. I liked the idea of them being static, but at least one or two people were iffy or undecided about it. Let me know what you think, thread.

Is it supposed to be impossible to do a virgin run as a child in the mod?
The starting stats are so shit it's impossible to defeat a goblin or imp at the beginning with attacks or tease before it knocks you out.
How are you supposed to gain XP at all? Forest walks until you have enough HP to tank the starting enemies? And running from every single fucking enemy while maybe getting 1 tease off at the start just to train it a little? Fun. Because with the strength you start with you get to deal an amazing 7 damage per turn (a whopping 8 with the beautiful sword lmao,) which is nothing, and enemies will deal around 22 fucking damage per attack, which means you need over 200 to have a chance  of killing an imp or goblin who has around 100. You start with less than 50hp so even the weakest enemies 3 shot you. You can't even buy tinctures to raise strength to deal more damage because you'll never have any money when you can't defeat enemies in the first place.

Alright I'm now almost convinced a virgin child run is literally impossible. If you do forest walks to raise HP eventually you encounter tentacle beasts which 2 shot you, meaning you can't go above around 64 HP there. Now you can attack with the sword or tease to raise mastery and run during every goblin and imp encounter but I don't know if that would give the damage necessary to defeat a goblin or imp when maxed with such poor stats and a soft cap of 64hp. Against imps if you don't run on the first turn you run a high risk of defeat and needing to save scum if you get unlucky and fail the next 2 run attempts. I've also got down to 3hp running from turn 1 against an imp. So it's basically never worth trying to train against an imp. Against a goblin it's a little better since they hit for less and favour using their poisons but so far I've gotten down to 2hp from 1 attack of my own followed by run attempts. I'm going to try the 1 attack -> flee method against goblins while fleeing every imp and see if I can eventually get the damage to defeat goblins for XP. I expect to save scum anyways because of imps and very bad rolls against fleeing from goblins which happened once so far.

Starting as a child is definetly a direct nerf, however if you want to try and brute force your way through it, I would advise taking the "runner" perk and essentially noping out of any fight the instant you're in oneshot range. Goblins have a damage over time effect which almost instantly causes a loss state so usually just book it if you're already low.
The TF's also can allow for things like dodge chance and whatnot to assist you later, and much further on you can purchase a costly material to turn you back to human if you'd prefer.
At some point it might be a good idea to fix how rough the early game is for child players though, while it makes sense from a logical standpoint that a goblin would absolutely deck some kid with a sword, from a gameplay perspective it's just not fun unless you're into your character being repeatedly raped.
Of course, if you want to go for a child power fantasy there's also always the option to cheat your stats.

Honestly now that I've been reminded about the farm I'm fine with it being impossible to kill goblins and imps from the start as a kid. I'd just like it if it wasn't up to RNG running whether you get raped before reaching Tel'Adre when rushing it, because it's certainly possible if you're unlucky. I tried two new saves and both times was able to reach the farm and unlock it under places without encountering enemies. I even did like 20 explorations of just the lake after finding the farm and encountered nothing. But when I tried reaching the desert I ran into enemies, on the last run it was 3 before unlocking the desert.

while I was double checking what stats you could get at the farm I learned you can actually raise int by talking to whitney. something I didn't know. exploring can grant speed, while working can give strength or speed. I think marbles milk can also be a pretty powerful healing item and if you recruit her she can give you free stuff but that's a whole questline. Thankfully completing her quest risks zero combat encounters of any kind. You can also get a bow from kelt, so yeah the farm seems to be geared towards helping out early which makes sense given its often one of the first few places you unlock. Children should also level stats faster there I think so it should be "meta" for kid builds if there is such a thing in an erotic text game.
I did kind of find it weird how marble basically serves as a guide after you recruit her and gives stuff that would be useful early on and is a source of a non tf healing item, but then I basically put off doing anything with her until I'm running out of stuff to unlock and she is sort of useless at that point. The story progression is wack and rushed. The pc also has the benefit of not being bound to a tower in order to stave off corruption. She is basically at risk of transforming and becoming corrupt if she spends too much time away from her tower. If you spar with her she isn't actually that weak, she just can't travel very far. As for being a cuck currently she has no content to indicate any cheating with the exception of the pc's polyamory that all romancable npc's are by extension subject to. As for finding her daughter, eh? they would be a pretty standard shark girl by all accounts that you could find in the lake. I could maybe see there being some Minerva expansion where you corrupt her into embracing incest but that would be a very difficult narrative to write not even accounting for the size and effort. Like I said before if you want any of these ideas you're spouting to have a snowball's chance in hell of becoming more than an idea your going to need to take up the pen and get writing or commission someone else to author it. Currently none of it is tracked because Alex only comes up twice and none of the choices you make are ever relevant later, aside from the immediate effect on her chasteness/sluttiness for the first event or choosing incest when talking after.

It's not an error because it wasn't needed for anything until now, but if the stuff you're implementing references Alex (I'm not keeping up with the thread so I don't know the details) and the earlier decisions are relevant to it, then yeah, you'll need to add something to track them.
You'll also have to do something to handle existing saves that already have a grown-up Helspawn so it's too late to track the choice. I'm not sure what you'd do for that (especially since I don't know how the scenes work), but you could maybe bring up a prompt on loading that lets people decide, or maybe just do nothing and if people want to see the scenes they can use the debug menu to set the variable. The latter should be fine for anyone paying attention to the thread, anyone who doesn't watch the thread will generally be locked out unless they start a new character though.

It might be possible to get a mostly virgin run at any age as long as you went genderless really quickly then only went back once you get really close to the end. I could also see it being viable if you were to do straight exploring and lake, lake, boat, farm until you get enough experience to jump up quite a few levels All at once or were to use the level scaling option and basically you do your best to max out your stats and sit at level one until you can jump to ten or higher then you simply need to use the scaling option to get more experience until you get close to twenty or better then you change the options back to normal and you could possibly even get almost every enemy within a few days in game. I also have a question about having the bimbo version of JoJo and if there is a way to get him and be good after or something like that.

And that's playing it ultra ultra safe. You can do it faster too, but any chance of failure might deter you

But really, you can just play normally as a child on hard mode and stay a virgin by playing kind of smartly. It doesn't take so much effort to secure your purity.

this one specifically. I helped with the non-coding side of things like finding the context for scenes or making suggestions. I sort of had this being implemented in mind while I was writing the HS threesome. Unfortunately the guy who coded it hasn't been seen around in a long time and has unresolved comments, so someone might need to finish their work for that merge, which I do feel is worth while since it makes things like dragon cocks having knots that function in scenes that previously only checked for dog cocks making the whole thing make a lot more sense.

As for the code stuff. I know it isn't really coding but it requires a similar level of attention to detail and little to no room for errors. Because of that it demands a lot of focus that I just don't have. I recently finished making my first full scale mod for a game and that was a lot of writing to be done for defining things, calling them, and creating new effects. I would not have been able to do that without being in call with my knowledgeable friend holding my hand until I could handle the repetitive stuff without help. It took me a long long time to finish that project and I kind of loathed working on it at times. There is no way in hell I'm jeopardizing any of my social circle by even mentioning or implying anything about this mod for constant hand holding. That's why I say I'm bad at coding; I can't effectively trouble shoot/debug, learn, or proof by myself. Writing on the other hand is much more free form and the errors don't break anything and you only need to fix the things that can be noticed.
