Hello Neptunians,

I need some help. Earlier today I was browsing threads here and heard about Nepgear and her Conquest Ending. I've never seen that before so I got curious and watched a NepTube video of it.

Guys, I've never been so destroyed before. How could this happen in Neptunia? I'd expect this to be on some sort of twisted fan-fiction but not in the real game.

Watching that seriously made my stomach knot. I know it isn't a canon ending by any means but the fact that it's a possible ending in the actual game just did something to me.

I've been trying to replace these feelings by overloading with Neps. However, whenever I play I am reminded of their deaths…

I probably wouldn't be as effected if Nepgear was killed instead of Neptune but Nepgear is my favorite Nep. She had to endure everything. She was most effected.
Rom and Ram's scenes crushed my soul however

Please anons, I need to be cured of this soon. I know with time I'll forget about it but I need to see some Nepping and I need it from people who know about the ending.

I guess you can say thanks to multiple universes each ending is sort of canon.
Just shrug it and move on, don't get all hung up over it.

How much more painful do you think it would've been if you've seen it firsthand in-game, while you're playing it and not on YouTube

Just avoid that ending like the plague in the future and keep on Nepping
Honestly, OP, it's one of those things that happens. A Bad end of sorts. I wouldn't let that ruin your ability to Nep, and I'd definitely watch the other endings in 2 as a result, since they're all much more lighthearted and what you'd expect from Neptunia

I've never gotten the Conquest End. It's just not the ending I want in my cute girls games - but I know some people love that the series takes such a dark turn

I think there should be a balance between the lighthearted shit and the heavy shit. Going too light is stomach-churning, and going to too dark is extremely irritating.
Speaking of bad ends, has anyone translated the bad end scene from Nep VII? I want to know if it's as soul-crushing.
Now I'm not sure if I should pursue this ending. I started playing Re;Birth 2 the other day and I've already made sure to see all of the chirper messages about the sword. I was told that this ending would make it easier to get the other endings in new game+ but if it's that worrisome…

I'm only up to chapter 3 so far.

You can cancel out at any time before Chapter 5 ends. You merely need to just flush a non-Planeptune nation with Shares to avoid it.

I ended up going for the Holy Sword ending. Thanks friend.

I liked the Conquest ending, it made me love Nepugia even more. For some reason, when watching anime/playing videogames I like girls who endure lots of pain and still keep going on. (eng isn't my first language).

Neps can really tough it out.

Then again the Neptunia universe is really quite unpleasant if you think about it too much, so anyone trying to run anything there has to be mentally hardened in some way, or outright crazy.
