The Bible is written by anonymous authors.
The oldest complete manuscript is carbon-dated back to the 4th century, 300+ years after Jesus, and in Greek instead of Aramaic, the mother tongue of Jesus and his people. Also, Paul, the self-proclaimed Apostle who never met Jesus at all (he claimed to have seen Jesus in a vision on the road to Damascus) changed the original teachings of Jesus completely.
This is how you get salvation according to Jesus :
- "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5:17-20
- And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.” 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” - Mark 10:17-21
This is how you get salvation according to Paul :
- "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace." - Romans 6:14:
- "Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian." - Galatians 3:23-25:
- "When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross." - Colossians 2:13-14:
Christianity to Christ's actual beliefs is basically what Mormonism is to Christianity. Paul was the original Joseph Smith.
