Army of sequels aside, there's plenty of good stuff this season.

>Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha
Pure quality edge. Haven't seen an edgy action packed anime like this since Ragna Crimson.

>Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu
Gayest quality anime since Big Bang Bravern. That aside, I like the idea of a town slowly being taken over by supernatural creatures. Also it's one of the more visually creative anime of the season along with Dan Da Dan. 

>Ruri no Houseki
Came to watch for the archaeologist with succubus proportions and stayed for the mineral facts and curvy loli. Another beautiful looking show.

>Tsuyokute New Saga
It's budget but I kind of like it and its NG+ fantasy setting.

The typical meek mama's boy bitch character ruined Takopii no Genzai. Characters like this should never be used for anything more than quick gags with them being shoved into lockers or given swirlies, background characters that only exist to be ridiculed and as an example of a kind of person nobody should be like.

It had a good hook for initial interest in the light novel series but it didn't keep that quality consistent. Drip-feeding the actual plot gets boring eventually. I wonder how the anime would deal with the pacing issue, in comparison.

Tried watching the loli anime of the season but

All the characters just came off as boring, and all the shitty isekais have made me dislike these generic fantasy settings.

Cute anime but the loli speaking dub english makes it a hard watch. Have instead been watching Food Court to see JKs with monkey ears complain about life
