Although it's a "vanilla fetish," it's still expected to be filled with /d/eviant images since we're on /d/. So you'll get futa, traps, mgirls/boys, clang, etcetera in such threads. So "vanilla" fetish threads wouldn't be strange at all. 
Threads with blander focuses were only a problem when you had several threads "futa with [fetish]" littering the board, but that was way back on 4/d/.

I don't mind having vanilla things sprinkled about. The question is if vanilla-people mind /d/ things around;
And if vanilla-only threads will slide everything else, but the board will unlike be so populated for that.

Did some further testing, and I now believe the problem arises when hiding threads that are listed consecutively - in which case only the odd threads in the group are hidden, whereas the even threads go as far as ignoring the hiding rules for images.

When I alone can make up the majority of a board's activity for the entire month in a single day, without spam, it is most definitely dead.

I actually know a place to start. The guro anons need a new board since gurochan is not showing signs of coming back. If someone finds them and tell about this board it might help reviving this place.
Also, what do you all think about setting a bunker on Retroshare? It's not great for something like /d/ but it seems like a good emergency option.

FINALLY, IT'S FUCKING FINISHED!!!
So, back in February, I had a flash drive that crashed and, due to my own stupidity, it also managed to take out one of my external hard drives along with it. Managed to save the hard drive, and majority of the files on the flash drive, but everything ended up in an unorganized mess and I had 50,000 images to go through. NOW, after four months, I have managed to reduce that down to 34k images, and sort them out into images that are perfectly fine (About 15k images), and images where I need to find the source to them. Anyway, it's still better than things were.

Trying to understand outlandish fetishes that I can't make sense of because I'm vanilla. Not here to shit on anyone's taste or anything, fap to whatever you like, not here to stir up any kind of shit. I was just talking to someone and I got on the subject of some of the more bizarre fetishes (including fetishes for things that don't even exist, things that are not real and therefore one must resort to complete fantasy in order to enjoy). Does anyone here believe they have an explanation for their fetishes? Do any of you think you can fundamentally explain why it is you like what you like? There's no research on this stuff to my knowledge and I really can't wrap my head around things like wanting to be swallowed by a giantess or something (again, not insulting). I'm just genuinely curious and would appreciate serious replies if you have any, because it seems like nobody even bothers to ask "why" on subjects like these but I'm actually interested because I don't know or understand a thing about it.

I wanted to blanket post this across the boards here on PLW while there is still time. Please pardon the spamming, since this is an exceptional circumstance.

As I mentioned on /animu/'s /meta thread ( >>>/animu/114878 ), the Trashmin over on Trashchan has said that he is willing to host any PLW boards if they'd care to migrate there. The BO simply needs to get an account created there on Trash, and request the board transfer on the board-request thread there on trash/meta. The rest is automatic, since the trash board migration pipeline is already in place. The process basically takes under an hour. If the BO doesn't respond, then as the 30th deadline draws near, then other Anons step up. Currently, there are 3weeks and 3 days left.
