So, after the not so happy end in chapter two, let's restart this game from the beginning.

Chapter 1: >>82
Chapter 2: >>648
Summary: https://questlog.neocities.org/instead

Chapter 3 (From the beginning)

You're Tom, 29, single, and a full time wageslave. There's not much to talk about your life, today was a usual day for you. You're walking home late at night after a long day of wageslaving. Your coworkers fucked up everything they could then left, so you had to fix all their bullshit---just like always. The weather is also horrible, it's cold and there's a fucking winter storm out here, but at least it means you don't have to deal with the crowd of people. In fact, you're the only person walking down the road, only a few people in cars dare to go anywhere in this weather.
You reach the shop you were heading for, to buy some food for dinner, but the entrance is dark. You walk closer and you notice a small sign: "CLOSED DUE TO WEATHER."
"Shit," you sigh and start walking back home. You hope you can still find something edible in your fridge, because there's no way you will go find a different shop in this weather.
You suddenly hear a low, grumbling sound. You stop and look around, but you don't see anything. What is this? Finally, when you look up, you see a big lump of snow falling toward you! This view shocks you, and before you could react, the avalanche hits you and you pass out.

When you regain your senses, you wake up... in a forest like thing? It's certainly not winter here, it should be about 30 °C (86 °F) here, but it feels much hotter due to the high humidity. You look at yourself, it looks like you're naked, the only piece of clothing you have is a bracelet you don't recognize---it's some wooden balls with various carvings of animals. You're full of wounds and bruises, it's no surprise that every part of your body hurts. You're also thirsty and hungry, but in your current situation you're not sure whether you can stand up at all.

...

Since this is a replay, feel free to skip ahead until the story diverges. I don't want to copy-paste the whole chapter 1 here.

I've moved the quest summary from pastebin, because when I tried to edit my old paste, they threw a

shit in my face, after a lot of trial-and-error I figured out the verboten word is "pussy". They also made my old paste private without warning, and when I wanted to check it out, they simply logged me out and threw a jewgle recaptcha at me, so fuck them.
So here's a neocities registered with a disposable email instead, let's see how long it holds. Not sure whether this org-mode exported html is better or not than the source.

Hide somewhere until the horn is heard, because the sound is the direction to follow.

"Shit this feels really familiar somehow... I think there's going to be a horn sooner or later, but I remember an animal attacking..." you murmur and look around. You see a tree nearby, you decide to climb it... wait, you can climb trees? Apparently you can...

When you're high enough to be safe from any beasts, you sit on a branch and wait, while inspecting your body. It's not you, but it feels familiar somehow.

...

You wait 10 minutes, you wait 20, maybe even 30, the hunger is starting to kill you (but something tells you if you try to go and get some food you'll be attacked by a beast, so you stay put), when you finally hear some horn in the distance. You get down and hurry in the direction of the sound.
After a long walk through the forest, you arrive at a clearing with a small path across, and rocky terrain on the other side. You look around, and on your right you notice two people walking away, and it doesn't look like they noticed you, they're wearing some weird loinclothes and have some barbaric weapons... but it's somewhy eerily familiar. Part of you says run, as fast as you can, while the other part of you says shout at them.

"Hey, you! Stop!"
The two people turn around and looks at you. Then a moment later,
"Hey, it's you, J'Amal, aren't you? Yeah, it's him!"
they answer and start running to you.

"We've been looking for you, what happened, why didn't you return? Um... are you alright? You look pretty beat up... Also, where are your clothes, your sword, and everything? I guess this means the hunt was a catastrophe..."
It looks like you won't get away without answering their torrent of questions.

"Dark, evil things were hiding in that forest. A beast would have easily been no match for me, but creatures in which my blade could not cut? A shaman would have been needed. Besides that, I feel blessed for being able to escape with my life in tow. I feel like a changed man. Let us return to town. Would you have anything to cover myself for now?"

"Uhm, if you say that, we better get out of here quick. If even you couldn't handle those evil things, we would be no match for them."
The guy next to him sounds his horn, but in a different tone than before.
"Oh, and you, we didn't bring extra clothes... but take my cape, it should cover you enough for the time being."

You start walking, and after a couple of minutes you reach a junction with a horse and a primitive carriage after it.
"Hey, J'Amal, hop on, and we'll be back in the village in no time!" shouts the man on the horse.
"Alright," you answer and you board the carriage.
"Are you alright? I'm taking you to the shaman, to check your wounds."
"Thanks..."

Well, he didn't joke when he said no time, the horse starts running... and well, you can just hope that you won't fall off this weird carriage and that poor horse will survive. Some time later the carriage slows down, as it meets a crowd in front of the village.
"J'Amal is back!"
"Away, people, I have to bring him to the shaman!", the horse rider tries to shoo the people away, but even with that it takes a few minutes until you can pass the crowd.

You finally arrive at the shaman, you thank the horseman his service, and you enter the tent.
"Oh, J'Amal, you returned! Take of your clothes, let me check your wounds. We were worried about you, what happened?"

I've spent like 30 minutes reading this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clothing_in_the_ancient_world?useskin=monobook but still couldn't figure out how to call whatever that toga/shirt like thing the guy wears... so I just went with cape in the end. Don't expect a modern cape though...

"That's worrying... Drink this, this will help me to make a connection with your spirits... and also soothes the pain while I tend to your wounds, not like you need it."
He gives you a cup with some weird fluid inside. Your first thought is "there's no way I'm drinking this!", but somehow it feels familiar...

Aren't that a thing that only really covers the crotch area? What I meant is something like an oversized shirt, or a toga, or something like that, that covers the upper body, and could also work as a short skirt.

"Very well."

Drink the drink. Concentrate on keeping conscious. I don't think they would like it very much to know that J'Amal has two spirits residing in his body.

Speaking of which, after drinking it, try to communicate with J'Amal, see if that works.

"Lay down here, I'll be ready in a moment. Until that... try to remember your encounter with the dark spirits."
The shaman moves to a corner of his tent, collecting various objects... You're not sure what they're used for, but the drink slowly starts to take effect. Your body starts to go numb, if you try to move your limbs they feel heavy, you start to feel dizzy...
"Alright, let's start this," the shaman's voice sounds like it's coming from miles away. Then he starts playing on some kind of instrument, the music is really hypnotizing, doesn't help you to remain conscious.
"Hey, you, come here!" you hear a voice. It's not the shaman's voice, but you can't see anyone else in the spinning world around you. "Thank you for saving me from the peril, but now I'd like to get my body back."

Anyway, about the drink... well, yes, I could give you a second one, but it can be dangerous, especially in your current state. You wake up to some weird beeps. You sit up and look around, you need a few seconds to realize that you're in a hospital room. You remember being hit by the snow falling of the top of the building, but what happened after... was it just a weird dream?

...

This time you managed to get out of the hospital earlier, so you could still get back to your workplace before the boss could fire you, and you could continue filling Excel sheets all day.

A few days later you saw a dream, where J'Amal was standing triumphant with a severed head in his hand, it was supposedly the head of the man who sabotaged the hunt, but otherwise you never heard of that weird tribe again. Soon, you forgot the whole thing.

I feel like a review of what could have been done better would be nice, but what I think would be really nice is if there was some kind of tangible benefit to Tom that we're trying to help these people, as of now, there's really none that I can see.

Work has been a bit busy for me so I was unable to reply for the past few days.

Umm, well, this is not like a finished VN with predetermined story, I'm making shit up as we progress, so I can't really tell in advance what is good and what is wrong... But getting out of J'Amal's body ASAP is not the correct solution, because in that case there's no reason you will have to meet again.
One possibility is to fuck up things again, but learn how to swap bodies at least partially consistently, then do something after you end up in that prison actually I had some overarching story in mind there, with an enemy even bigger than Pamphakukulox, but the only road I to there that I could think of was pretty ugly, so it's not a big problem if stays inside me.
...Actually, now that I was thinking about it, going into the story assuming you know about this body swap thing kills the story, because if you know how to body swap, you'd just swap out as soon an possible, and that's the end of the story. You'd have to stay with J'Amal for longer, or at least do something that would case them to ask for your help a bit later again.
There's also the notes of Tom's dead grandfather, completely unexplored right now, that could be made also relevant.

You mean this one? >>115 In that case I'm modifying the prompt to "go to the cave" because I doubt randomly wandering around would get us there again.

Something tells you if you start walking in a specific direction, you'll end up at a rocky area, so you pick yourself up and start walking.
Soon you arrive at the rocky area, with many small caves, too small for a human to fit, but finally you also find one large enough. Unfortunately, after walking in a few meters it's already pitch dark, exploring the cave without a light source looks futile now.

Look around the outside cave area, does it look like anything lives inside? If it smells like guano, has guano etc. Would be a sign of bats living inside.

You inspect the entrance of the cave. It's quiet now, but you find some footmarks on the ground, even though you're not sure what kind of animal could it be. But it should be relatively small, based on the size of the marks. Further inside you see feces, might be guano, but you're not sure in the bad lighting conditions, and you would rather not go inside the cave.
You look around the cave, there's the road that you just passed leaving the forest, but you can't see anything else in the immediate vicinity. Maybe if scale the rocky hills, you will find something on the other side.

You try to remember what happened before you woke up, but you have a hard time remembering anything other than being hit by the snow. Everything was snow-white, but wait a minute... If you got buried under the snow in the night, it should have been dark, not bright white. What was that? Then it was kinda like you somehow started moving in the endless whiteness... but how? You felt the wind, it was getting stronger and stronger, then the next time you remember is waking up in that forest. "Hiya, J'Amal! Long time no see!" a man suddenly greets you from behind.
You look at the guy, but you don't recognize him. He's a huge brute, he could easily send people to the other world with his bare hands, you better not anger him.
"How you man? We'll need your expertise in a few days, you will be ready, right? That few scratches won't stop you!"

You grab a wooden sword and swing it in front of a dummy. Nothing interesting happens. You try to attack the dummy, but it's pretty bad. The body seems to remember something about how to use the sword, but you can't seem to exploit it.
You look around and check what other weapons you have around, and you find a spear. Nope, it's even worse, you almost hurt yourself while trying to throw the spear at the dummy.
What else you have...? Oh, a mace. You pick it up, swing it, hit the dummy... you hear rumbling noise, as you managed to knock down not just the dummy you were attacking, but also the one next to it.

"Hey, J'Amal! What are you doing? You're too strong for those dummies!"

"Don't worry about that," you reply, take the mace and go outside.
You find a big opening right of the training ground without anyone around.
You swing the mace left, right, simulating hitting an enemy on the head... and whatever else you can think about... when suddenly you feel a pain in your right arm!
You were completely unprepared for this, so you actually threw the mace away.

>What kind of swing with the mace would make this pain throb?
Um, let's see, first you hold the (imaginary) mace in front of you, then you try to move it to the side, as if you want to attack someone. Looking closer at the scar you notice that this movement can slightly reopen the scar, and that causes the pain.

You show him the scar on your arm, and you describe the pain you felt.

"I... don't know."

"Okay, thanks," you reply and go inside the house.
"Finally, J'Amal, where were you? The guest can arrive any minute... Rudyny, come here! Quickly, take care of your master."
"Yes Mistress!," she responds, as she ran into the house. "Come on, Master, the tub is already ready, I've pre-heated it."

You don't have to figure out how to wash yourself, Rudyny does it, you just have to sit back and relax.
Or at least, that was the plan. When she moves to clean your arm, you involuntarily say a "Wait!" when she gets near to the scar.
"What's the problem, Master? We don't have time to fool around..."

"Now, if you don't mind, I have to hurry back and finish the preparation."

You nod, and head to the bedroom. You're not exactly sure what to do, the alcohol you drank starts to take its effect, so you just sit on the side of the bed, looking around the room, trying to not fall asleep, when suddenly...
"TADA!"
Irziel storms into the room, naked. Wait, when did she get rid of her clothes?
"Aww, come on! If you don't do anything, I'll have to do it. ... Nothing, huh? Then let's try something."
She runs to you, and rips off your loincloth, revealing your (or more exactly J'Amal's) half-erect cock, but it only takes a split second to turn it into a fully erect one, as she starts licking it.
"Come on, I have a feeling that today is the day, where's my J'Amal turning into a brute who just smelled blood? Ravage your wife as hard as you can, otherwise you might never get a son!"

You stand up, grab Irziel, and throw her on the bed. You're not completely sure why you did that, your body more-or-less switched into autopilot mode, you can only think about one thing now. You grab your dick and take aim at Irziel's womehood, then
"Ahhgnnnn!" she moans as you enter her, but you take no notice of it.
Without delay, you start pounding her, hard and fast, while pinning her body down, it only takes a couple of thrusts and you come inside her.
Wait, that was fast, you just got started---you think, and looking at Irziel, she also looks confused. She doesn't say anything, but it's obvious she expected something else.
"Um, did I perhaps get you worked up too much?" she finally asks hesitantly.

"You did. Maybe you'd like to take the reins tonight? Tell me what you want, and I'll do it?"

"Huh, you're really drunk, saying things like that. Can you go another round?"
"Hmm..." you're not sure how to respond, but Irziel doesn't wait long, after a few seconds she gets up, and pushes you onto the bed.
She starts gently massaging your balls and licking your penis, and few seconds later, you're hard again. We're in a hentai where guys have infinite stamina, right? She continues pleasuring you for a bit, both with her hands and her tongue, before she mounts you. It's completely different than before, she goes much slower, so you can enjoy every portion of her pussy. She rubs your chest while she slowly starts to ride you, but a few seconds later she stops and leans over to your head, and whispers into your ear, with an unusually serious tone.
"Maybe, in this situation, I can influence you. If you need sex, I'm always here. Leave those bitches alone, you can also do whatever you want to do with me. No more knocking up slaves and I don't know who else, alright?"

Of course. Refraction period is less than a minute.

"Mmmhmm... yeah...", you nod, letting Irziel do her thing.
"Oh, my, what did you drink? But it's alright, I can have a good day sometimes too," she says, and gently bites your ear.
She starts riding you again, a little bit faster than before, but it's enough for the sensation to overtake your mind. You close your eyes, while feeling Irziel's breathing getting heavier with every move.
"Hey, don't fell asleep now," she says in a somewhat annoyed face, "does it not feel good?"
"Umm, no, it's good," is all you manage to reply. Irziel replies with a pouting face, while continuing to ride you, increasing the pace a notch.
It only takes a few minutes for Irziel to come with a loud moan, while her twitching insides just pushes you over the edge too.
"I'm coming!" you shout, but you have no idea why you did that. Fortunately, Irziel doesn't seem to mind, she collapsed on you as she came, trying to catch her breath. But this intense session drained your energy too, it only takes a few seconds to fall asleep.

...

White. Everything's white. You look left, you look right, but all you can see is endless whiteness. Yet, somehow you have a bad premonition about this whole situation.

The only thing you hear is some low intensity buzzing sound, but you can't tell where it is coming from. It's like it's coming from everywhere!
You can move around, and while you can't see anything, you have a feeling that there is some presence in a specific direction. You can try to get near it, or go as far away as you can.

Soon, the world around turns dark, and suddenly, you're back in Tom's body! (But naked...) You're checking your body for any obvious change, when you hear a familiar sound from behind.
"So, this is you," you turn around and see J'Amal in front of you, also naked. "You're as pathetic as I thought. You're a disappointment, even for a woman. Who helped you? Who is your master? There's no way you did all this on your own."

"Trying to get back the body you've stolen from me, dumbass. I've only succeeded in this realm so far, but I'll get it back in the real word too. And," he takes a step toward you, and firmly grabs your chin. You try to resist, but being back in your own body, you're no match against this brute. "I've seen what you did to my wife. The only reason I'm not killing you right here is because doing that while you're occupying my body would also kill me. But as soon as I get back into my body, you're dead, and your severed body parts will be paraded around town."

"That's all you got to say? Good, thank you for showing your true face..."
J'Amal's voice get farther and more damped, until you wake up.

"Um, is there something wrong?" you hear Irziel's voice. The room is dark, you can barely see anything, but it's obvious that you're back in this weird village again.

"Okay, but tell me if you need anything, alright?"
"Yeah..."
You slowly doze off...

You wake up to some animal sounds. You open your eyes and look around, you're still in J'Amal's bedroom, in J'Amal's body, but alone. It looks like Irziel went ahead, you hear a voice that sounds like hers, but the closed door muffles it enough to be incomprehensible.

I don't know how to write it into the story, so I just leave a reminder here that you have an appointment with Breezug today according to the original story.

You walk to the door and open it, and after a few moments you realize the source of the commotion. It looks like Rudyny dropped an egg on the floor, and Irziel is not too happy about it...
"Oh, good morning, the breakfast is almost ready, get dressed, I'll deal with this good for nothing slave. Unless, of course, you want to serve the punishment by yourself."

"Good morning, Irziel. No, it's fine, I think you can handle it well."
"Alright, then get dressed, we're waiting."

You walk back into the room, to the chest where you found your clothes yesterday. It should be there this time too. You open the chest, and you find some clothes similar to what you had before the celebration.
You pick up the shirt, then the loincloth. Rudyny is not here and you're not completely sure what is appropriate to do right now. Fortunately, you still remember how you wore it yesterday, so you try to reproduce it. It takes a few tries, but in the end you end up with a snugly fitting loincloth. You stand up and leave the bedroom.

Irziel is sitting at the table, the slaves are already serving the breakfast. On a big plate they bring food similar to yesterday: weird bread, vegetables and some smoked meat. You sit down next to Irziel and look at the table, when she asks you.
"Oh, I forgot to ask, how do you feel? Hangover?"

You take the drink(?) and gulp it down. It doesn't have egg taste at all, you only feel pepper and garlic. ... Actually, it wasn't as bad as you expected it, it sure has a bit of aftertaste, but it's bearable.
After it, you return to the normal breakfast and finish it. You had way more food on your plate than Irziel, yet you managed to finish faster than her.
"You want second helping?"
"No, that will be enough."
"I see. Then," she hugs you and continues, "be careful. Don't do anything stupid with that Breezug guy, alright?"

"I won't. Thanks for the meal."
You go outside and take a look around. You see various people going around in the morning sun, mostly slaves, kids and women. A little boy is chasing a hen, he almost knocks over a girl carrying a big basket.
"Morning, J'Amal, it was a wild party!" a warrior greets you, from the looks of it, he also has a hungover. He was here yesterday... probably? You don't remember his face.
You suddenly hear a clapping sound, you turn there, but it's only Tobodo splitting wood.
The village is alive and well. You have a feeling that most people got up earlier than you.

"Hey, you know where Breezug is?"
"Breezug? Probably at his house."
"Which is...?"

"Thanks," you reply, and head to Breezug's place. You find a house that's bigger than the ones next to them, it must be your target.

"Hello! Is there anyone?", you shout in front of the house, because, well, there is no doorbell. A few seconds later the door opens and a guy emerges from the house. He's probably Breezug, you saw him yesterday, but you drank too much alcohol and you're not completely sure.
"Hello, J'Amal! Finally, come inside!"
You follow him, you walk past the slaves working busily, then you enter a second room. It's much smaller, you suppose it's Breezug's own room, as it only has a small desk and two chairs inside.
"It's good to see you again, J'Amal. We were all worried when you didn't return. What happened? Um... do you really think that it was Alamalus, who sabotaged it? But one thing that's sure, is that we can't interrogate him now..."
