Robi, /retro/ was one of the boards I had archived. I can provide you a complete copy of all the posts/files if you'd like them. You'll have to do a little scripting to perform the re-integration with the new board, but I doubt that would be much of an issue for you.

My post is kinda off-topic, but I can't find better thread to post and I don't know whether it's worth new thread or if anyone would even reply to me...

It's truly depressing and it seems there's nothing worthwhile to look forward to. How should we cope besides discussing?

First step is moving on and continuing to live your life, not succumbing to the "death by nostalgia" syndrome. Second, you can revive old stuff in your own way! Who says you can't still make/view Flash content? Or create Venture Bros art? Or run Windows 7 on your existing computer(s)?.. This reminds me; apparently the source code of Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Xbox OS, and MS-DOS 6 has leaked online.

This gives me hope that these OS will be revived in the future, either in the form of custom distributions or emulators/virtualizers. Don't waste your time being depressed.

I heard about the Windows XP, but never knew more were in fact released.

Neat. Wouldn't Microsoft come down hard on anyone doing that? Hopefully someone can come up with something different enough that there'd be no proof they used the original code as a reference.

I suppose Microsoft would do that if someone tried recreating their precious Windows 10, but ancient versions like 2000 and XP are most probably not important at all. Hell, nowadays you can find ISOs of them on public websites as opposed to before when they only existed as torrents.
