I know what you mean, first they said that the prequels were bad, so I rewatched them and liked them a lot. Later I watched this for the first time expecting a cluster fuck, since all the normalfags were saying it was horrible, but is not that bad, is just a silly comfy Holiday Special, hell it even has the damn commercials on it, its like a time capsule.
Same goes with the Droids and Ewoks cartoons, they have their own charm and they are fun to watch, except for the Ewoks season 2, since they dropped the ball on that one.
All in all, the old stuff is miles better than the shit that kikeney pushes every day, well except for the Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars movie that was actually good and funny.

Phineas and ferb kinda fell under disneys kikery radar somehow and just simply stopped making that show. It wasnt cancelled iirc . Didnt know there even was star wars specials of that until some jewtube recommendations showed me clips of it one day. Almost a decade later. 

But Im sure its just preaching to the choir and never understood all the prequel hate in addition to this unfunny meme where the christmas special was really all that bad. Disney went so far as to copy paste this version of Boba fett. Stun rifle and all. Guess Normfags will just always find something to nitpick about everything. Sure Episode 1-2 sucked but the parts they did well enough didnt get the screen time they deserved. Episode 3 balanced this well enough. As the battle of geonosis should have been treated like a new generation’s battle of hoth. Not “oh yeah well fuck those nerds they arent jedi lol” and constantly cutting to the most boring shit after 5 seconds of interesting action for tha majority of both those movies.

Eafront 2 did alright when visualizing one part of the planetary invasion but still didnt do anythting like visualize how the hell they got so many assault ships on planet without alerting anyone so much as looking up as multiple acclamators touch down and establish a beachhead and suddenly venators are these despite not existing as a concept until a few years after episode 2  in  episode 3 or technically the second season of tartakovsky’s clone wars.
