Helia's morning scene where she becomes a Lover temporarily and gives you access to the tower, which is supposed to override other scenes, is overridden by Isabella's morning blowjobs. You can't get the scene unless you ask Isabella to stop the blowjobs.

I don't like parasite content though, I'd only do it if I really liked how Nettles was coming together.

She's holding a faerie by the neck with her foot, swinging it around while she sits on a branch, playfully enjoying it. She makes an offer to pass the faerie off to the player so they could have fun with it, expecting that the faerie would suffer even more in a larger being's hands. Whether you take the faerie and free her or you do what Nettles expects, you shift things toward the good or corrupt path.
Corrupt path lets you and Nettles be sociopathic on the tier of animal killers in kitten-crush videos but with sexual options not just violence (a lot of violence would be locked behind the gore toggle)
You become this monster she's playing with, like the muscle that far exceeds her(even a child is 3x her size) that she can throw victims away to. She'll even set up situations where she causes a problem with something much more powerful than her and draws it to you, expecting it can't get through you, and even if it can, she can just get away from it.
You can be more of a good person though, if you're weird like that. She still won't trust you and will spite you in mean-spirited ways as she can, hoping to upset you for fun.

That said, it's a bit weak and far far undercooked. I considered for one thing: making her an accessory to Jojo's content. Jojo is profoundly forgiving, a monk with a heart of gold, he'll try to direct a corrupt player onto a good path even if they tried to rape him. There's a soul to save in there, so if there's any chance to save it, he must try. Nettles could be a chance to challenge his philosophy, and also let in more glimpses of Jojo's deep survivor's guilt that goes back to him being the only survivor of his village. He doesn't deserve it, this weird asocial kid that would rather read than do anything kids do. He wasn't the best monk, he wasn't a beloved child, he was just him. Loving parents sure, accepted and liked by the monks, yeah, but he's just him. They told him to flee, and he did, and they are all gone. Forgiving the worst in others to see them become something better is a bit of him trying to forgive himself by being as good as he can be. Who is he to condemn another when he is this guilty?
Nettles would not be redeemed in any timeline. But she could start on the path and look like, eventually, she'd get there. But she'd die before that (I don't think she can be redeemed in a convincing way in a reasonable amount of time, so killing her off can give a little sting of "if only there was more time" and stop bothering with it)
So, Nettles is dead. But, before she died, at some point, for some reason, she'd have shared various things about her history and her kind, and the player would have the chance to get eggs laid in them. Just one egg if parasite content is off, and it'd be like a tumor, very boring, but works. Either way, you eventually end up with one named daughter that I'd probably name after a pretty flowering nettle species or maybe after a thistle, another prickly family of plants but they don't sting like nettles do.
And she'd present the opportunity for a kind of what-if scenario of would Nettles have been such a disgusting, awful person if she was raised in a better situation? If she didn't experience what she did? Or maybe pixies are just dangerous parasites and their original world is right to do everything they do. Pixies may be horrifying parasites in a clinical sense, but rats are awful pests too and you're still fucked up if you torment rats. Shove a wild rat in a small cage and hurt it, play with it like a toy, underfeed it, overfeed it, throw it. Doing this in response to an infestation of rats in your town speaks ill of your mental state. But, then, these pixies are pretty grotesque, they do infect wounds with eggs and fester inside you, eating your flesh from within. There's a bitter sense of justice to abuse them. But raise your own pixie and find out. Nettles was bad enough you probably don't sympathize, but what of the innocent and untainted pixie? I bet she tastes like crab with a slightly eggy element, worst case scenario you made lunch. Well, also you made an ecological nightmare with an invasive wound-infecting species in the case of parasite being enabled. But that's not your problem.

You know, despite liking the idea of a cute mesugaki dominating me more than I like the idea of dominating the cute mesugaki, I somehow tricked myself into writing the victory scenes for this Mina fight before writing the defeat scenes.

...I don't know why I did this. Nobody made me do that. Why did I do that? What a dummy I sure am.

Anyway, thread, I want to ask if you think it's okay to declare a battle scene "complete" if it only has one defeat scene written, even when there's planned to be about 6 or 7 options in the end? Should I wait until I have at least 2 or 3 of the options written? It might take me another couple weeks to do that, since these seem to insist upon a greater number of conditionals, and those are kind of a pain in the ass to write while maintaining flow.

I've started looking through the files for the bees and I'm beginning to suspect I'm more than a little over my head. Creative writing is a skill that I have so far neglected to cultivate. Progress is likely to be glacial but I'm going to keep at it, likely just tinkering around the edges for now. Likely I'll work on something smaller concurrently to get the practice in and to have something to show.
That being said if anyone else has any interest in doing something with the bees don't let me stop you.

Is there any particular workflow you have or a way you keep organised or are what we see in the pastebin files representative of how things look whilst you are making them? I used to use OneNote back when I was GMing but it seems to have changed for the worst.

Its been known for a while this game is a reporting platform. a number of players in europe have been arrested shortly after playing this game. also i've read other dudes talk about the game's api calls and external servies look like its de-anonymizing. 
In the US some states have laws against the pixels, texas is a large one, and a few goverment buildings have popped up there over the last year, and a few cdns and anime platforms have popped up there in the last year since their newest law.

Primer
Okay let's start with the bad.
Bad #1: This is a text-only game. The only graphics are what you see in the screenshot: headshots of the girls with slight variations based on their mood. No lewd images whatsoever. The dev hinted that this might change soon, but who knows.
Bad #2: This is a full-fledged autist game, very much in the Era style. There is lots of fappable text in there, but the game is a challenge, and you won't see any of the good stuff until you figure out how to effectively brutalize the magical girls.
If you're still here, you'll probably like the game! It is a very well-realized design, with a tight tactical, thinky gameplay loop. You have to carefully consider the (mental) weaknesses of the girls when deciding how to break them: you can get lots of Evil Energy (upgrade currency) from raping an innocent virgin, but a jaded, hardened warrior might be more traumatized by being humiliated in battle and made to feel powerless instead. If you play your cards right, you can make the girls hate each other, or bond more closely over their shared traumas; both options have advantages and disadvantages.

Gameplay Loop
Too complicated to explain in this post, but essentially there is a battle against the girls each day. Your goal in the battle varies, but especially at first, it will be to traumatize the girls as much as possible. The trauma will cause them to take selfish actions, which grants you Evil Energy, that you can spend to buy upgrades. Next day, repeat. The end goal is to crush the magical girls completely, by breaking their spirits and causing them to give up, to kill each other, or (preferably) to swear allegiance to you and help you in future battles.

The game is hard, with a lot of systems, and it's not really like any other game. Being confused for your first 2 or 3 runs is totally normal. (It just tells you what buttons to press and explains what is happening). If you want to try it out, SAVE OFTEN, because a single misclick can break the annotation.

It really isn't that complicated. The game/dev/all the people who make guides for this game lies about the mechanics, over explain things that actually don't matter(unresolved trauma) and obscure and undervalue the things that do matter such as the commander and surrounds. Infact here is a three point bullet guide to beat this game even on your first run.

Tldr: Never basic attack unless you have too. Surround attacks is the only attack you should be doing because it targets the only dmg type in the game that matters. And the commander is king but is undersold by both the dev and everyone that makes guides for this game.

So when you boot up the game and played the tutorial, or you read a basic overview on how combat, and all of them will tell you that basic attacking is for the most part how you'll be getting your surrounds. What they all gloss over though is that basic attacking is a massive negative dmg division every time you get a surround through basic attacking. A negative dmg division that starts at 1/2 per basic attack breakthrough on the corresponding circumstance dmg, which is the only dmg type that matters in this game. And this is how the game/guides tell you is the "right way" to play the game. Fuck no it's not. NEVER do basic attacks unless you have to push a new round of surrounds, or it's in the early game and you have nothing else to do.

>Circumstance and surrounds
I won't go too deep into the naming of all this, just know that the only way to deal circumstance dmg is to surround a chosen, and pick one of the new set of attacks. I will point out however that unlike it's over explained but vastly inferior cousin, basic attacks, circumstance is a positive dmg multiplier that augments themselves depending on which circumstance dmg type is being attack. But wait, there's more. Each circumstance multiplier stacks with each other and has exponential growth. It won't be long until you start seeing *500 on the only dmg type that matters. There's just one problem. Remember that negative 1/2 multiplier? Yeah that's still there, and it won't go away until you get a circumstance dmg type lvl up, and the only way to get a circumstance dmg type lvl up is to hit x number for said dmg type. So having a 1/2 negative multiplier makes hitting these breaks numbers harder, but it gets worse. Before any positive multiplier can take root, it has to overcome that negative 1/2, meaning you don't even get the full value for that lvl up. Again NEVER basic attack unless you have to.

>Commander
So if you can't basic attack to get surrounds, what do you do? Easy, spend points on a commander. A commander is an auto surround on any chosen you sic it on. Which means you start from a neutral numbers game, which means those break numbers are easier to hit, which means you get the full value of the circumstance dmg positive multiplier without having to overcome the negative 1/2 multiplier. There's just one problem. All the guides and the game itself will lie to you. If you just buy a commander and try to start a battle with it, the game will warn you that the commander is too weak to impact anything. And all of the guides will say you need a min 4 turns surround and 3 times use before a commander is even worth using. Both of these are horse shit lies. A basic 2 turn surround commander is 1000* stronger than playing the "right way" and just basic attacks to get surrounds.

Most of this advice is applicable to Loop 1, and yes Loop 1 feels crazy when you don't yet know how the basics work, and then becomes completely trivial once you do. It's really not remotely possible to lose Loop 1 once you understand that it's all about surrounds. The real challenges come later in the game, when stronger types of Chosen start appearing, you start switching things up by training and using Forsaken, and your item loadouts start being important as well.
(That said, basic attacks do have their place; for example, sometimes when one Chosen has broken out of a surround and another one is still surrounded, it is correct to basic attack the Chosen who's free, to ensure that their next surround is longer.)

Though I'd try cultivation spiral out before trying corrupted saviours. Didn't really grab me at all, far too slow with nothing really happening. I tried giving it two loops but after the first "life" it was just spam clicking and hoping something would change. Far too much effort and far too uninteresting to only be teased with slight nipple exposure. I assume there is some pay off and the achievements promise the time you live can go on further but I can't imagine the payoff being worth the investment.

Are the suppressor classes even worth it? I know they unlock upgrades but what do they actually do aside from that? Is there any reason not to always take at least a 2 cost commander?
I find a basic commander with extra capture turns can handle things pretty damn well. Extra capture is good but more turns is more important.

Few months ago I started to move the project into a public release and here I am.
ArcLock is a web server architecture with a web ui that works on both desktop and mobile.
So getting it setup on some linux box is all you need to get a central archival unit ready!

SiNiSistar 2? I just tried it after reading this and it works fine here. I make a prefix out of habit now so maybe it's needed? I donno, right click on the game entry on Lutris and "Configure" then click the triple dot button on the right of the "Wine prefix" box. 
Prefixes are just folders for emulating windows file structures for the game. Make a new folder and choose it.

By that you mean console games I assume?
You can try RetroArch for those instead of using Lutris. I still play romhacks on my phone with RetroArch. It's also available in the Software Manager on Mint.

I'm a newbie at this too, been using Linux for like 3-4 months I think. 
The real issue I realized with Linux is that whatever answer to a problem you maybe looking for probably has been asked and answered, but the search engines won't find that specific answer immediately since it's not as popular.

I’m a bit retarded, please help me & tell me where I’m screwing this up.

-I installed Lutris.
-Using Lutris, I created a “games” folder.
-I dumped the entire folder with the exe and all the extra Sinistar2 data in there.
-I launched the game (with lutris), got through the start menu, and then it freezes and crashes while loading.

At least with this method, I can get it to run up consistently until the freezing-and-crashing part.

You don't need to dump anything in there, it's just the default folder for Lutris to install things into. Direct Lutris to the game's exe and everything should be golden.

If it runs upto that point than either your files might be corrupted or your processor might be too weak. One drawback of having to use wine for anything is the excess processing power it uses to translate from windows files to linux. I say that however my own system is more than a decade old so I don't really know what to tell you, download a fresh copy of the newer version of the game and try again.

You may wanna open a new thread for general game related troubleshooting instead of high-jacking this one.

There has been precisely 0 iteration on what AA2 did since it came out. There is nothing in the market since then that even comes close to it. This is the worst case scenario. You can't justify going back to AA2 again, but nothing even approaches what AA2 was. You are left with absence.

I've been noticing that not a lot of people talk about these games. Were they crap, or were they better then the big trashpile that is majority of western erotic games? I'm mostly trying for western erotic games, but old school hentai games are good too.
I haven't sadly played any yet.
Also since some anons would like talk about lula (i think) games I'm giving it up to 2010 everything after that can be elsewere and no flash games don't count.

Not really sure if actually pre-2010 or very early 2010s, but there is a decent amount of legitimately good RPGMaker games. Violated Heroine comes to mind as one of the older worthwhile ones.

Started on this little sandbox game so I want to introduce it to other anons.

Imagine The Island, but with porn and anime. You can base build, explore, gather resources, and capture natives to make into meat toilets. It has Flash-tier 2D jank but it's acceptable graphics quality for this type of game in my opinion.

>Why should I play this?
Mechanically, it's a fun experience with a lot going for it. The game gives you a lot of freedom to do what you want. Savage native tribes and butcher them for consumption? Sure. Peacefully run a farm of native milk hags? Go for it. The game also caters to a lot of different fetishes, but it has a strong (though avoidable) emphasis on guro.

Amusingly it's on Steam. Can't be arsed to find the yarrharr version.
