Woke back up, thanks anons, for answers:
>Xianxia has atrocious, broken english and errors all over the place
I'm, used to playing either garbage translation/writing, or MTL when it comes to h or text games(or manga/novels. I can't even compare Xianxia to thest, although I guess i never "hunted" for errors ehen playing.
>Terrible code
Can't really talk about that as I hasn't seen the code other than through savefile editor once (fucked up and took the lethicite, thinking that I'd be able to use it for something else), all I can say is the game never glithed out on me, one bug I encountered (and that was years ago) was when DoT was added, you could travel through the menus in a certain way to retrigger without making a move.
>The /hgg/ mod is very consistent in the game's world and setting. It feels like an improvement and evolution of the original game rather than a confetti blast of garbage
The thing that came out at me the strongest was the whole eastern city location, that felt really out of place compared to the rest of the game, but finding it didn't seem that out of place compared to finding the desert town (I wish you didn't just find them like "Here's a town", but had to do meet someone from the city or sth to point you the way, but that's muy personal nitpick)
Back when I started playing it there weren't item icons nor the whole "branching explore map (I agree that it in particular looks pretty atrocious and indev, but I can see it's usefulness), so it didn't look that different from the normal game unless you turned on hero visualization to be visible (which I did, I like the pixelart)

>their mod actually STUTTERS from time to time
Haven't noticed that but you're right, My pc stutters with all flash games, and most games in general, so again "Blind Goggles", but it is funny
>the people behind it are smug as fuck about their """superiority""" because their lead writer got it into their head
All writers anywhere are stupid smug fucks, especially when they do it for free, Any mod any game any genre or media even, this is not meant as insult, but you pricks can be hard to talk to, unless after two or three beers I guess(or wine, I don't judge).

>splitting the statbar in half across different sides of the screen and then splitting the remainder in half to display it horizontally for decreased visibility
LMAO, where is it. Point me to it, I want to see it,
>the full-bright colors used for stats which fuck over colorblind people
didn't consider, isn't there a colorblind mode? I really don't know shit about that, tho.
their Stash menu compared to ours when they tried to lift the code directly from us and still made it much worse in usability
There's normal + backpack, there's like esoteric bag, and there's the stash, and they are a mess, although I didn't use the stash and racks in the basic game anyway, and the esoteric bag fills all my "need more place to put stuff" needs, although I wish there were different ways to "sort" it, since they bothered to put that in in the first place
>their button-dragging feature
their what now?
>their entire perk point menu
I am used to the old menu, so I'm also used to scrolling to find if I want anything, and I do believe that old perk menu is way more usable than the menu they put internal mutations into. But this whole "put 3 letters on a button" thing, and how the branching paths are shown makes me believe that the team has NO artists, like at all.
>constant fourth wall breaking tooltips
The rathazul one is the only one I noticed, and was added I think recently with the whole "alchemy" minigame (It really didn't need to be there, but whatever width over depth philosophy), although now that I think about it the whole "you need to beat the boss of such and such first", count to that as well.
>their button placement is even WORSE than vanilla's
what makes good button placement good?
All in all, I swallowed the Eastern city concept, when it let me go to an arena (I think arena was done better in previous versions) and meet a
