I'm partial to inca kola myself. My girlfriend got me some for my birthday one year and it's been a staple since. There's nothing else quite like it. Iron Bru has a much stronger and less refreshing taste.

maine root ginger beer or fever tree tonic water. first found the ginger beer in vermont maybe 10 years ago. now it's mostly a night time drink when browsing forums, tinkering with the computer, or late night drives.

Old Rasputin; I also enjoy a glass of absinthe from time to time.

How does this taste any way?

Not OP, but a fellow cola champagne fan. Very very sweet and slightly bananaish, kind of like circus peanuts.

I haven't drank any soda for over a year now. Whenever I did, I was very partial to trying out random cherry cola's with only real sugar. It's hard to find independent soda companies that sell individual bottles in stores within my area. I also only like to drink soda that comes in glass bottles. Plastic just ruins the taste and isn't worth buying in the first place. I also don't feel like going out of my way to order soda online. Although I almost did for Pepsi Blue out of the Philippines once just out of a nostalgia kick online that was going on at that time. I did end up drinking it when they "rereleased it" more recently. It was the biggest disappointment I had ever tasted. Didn't even have that original taste that it had in the early 2000s. Perhaps my palate just being more refined over the years could have been more of a factor. Who knows..

>cola champagne
Excellent but Cola soda, or specifically the clear Champagne style tastes like mild, very slightly tangy cola... which is hard to explain because >americans don't know anything about actual cola nut flavor.
Also old-fashioned Frescolita-style flavor enjoyer, it's great on shaved ice

These are my two favorite ones. I haven't had an RD in some years now, unfortunately. The old convenience store where I use to git them went out of business. Clearly Canadian was something that I loved for years as a kid but then one day they just stopped having them at the grocery store. A few years ago though I discovered that thay had come back. I thought they had been discontinued. Raspberry one is my favorite but I've found the blackberry one is pretty good too. Haven't tried the other two flavors.
