Nah, I got CP spam before too, but it indeed looks like the intensity increased.
Check your account tab, if I didn't fuck up permissions you should have a global management tab. (Sometimes recent posts page goes crazy and sends a notification for the same post every second. I know about it, just press F5 when it happens, until I figure out what causes it.)

Yeah, I usually ban 30days, it's an arbitrary number, but I don't see the utility of long bans, as spammers can easily change IP.
