I'm very glad to see the board up and about again after 8chan's fall. I hope others learn of the boards existence and it gets back on its feet after so long in the ruins graveyard.

This. More exposure would mean a better chance of new posters here even if its a slight increase. Also gives a chance for someone interested in starting a quest as well.

Hey, questing boys, I know this board is practically empty, but I do know you guys come from the old /quest/ board over 8chan.
Would you like to join our virtual soccer competition? It's pretty easy, all you have to do is create a thread on the /icup/ board and come up with at least 16 player names you want to use to join.

I tried to look at some archives, but it's hard to get references for characters when even the thumbnails have been scrubbed off. All I got saved locally is this pic of a nameless woman who I'm sure past the protagonist of a quest at some point.

Drawfags are unicorns to begin with, let alone on small boards like this one. And there didn't seem to be much of an effort to archive the pictures, so most artists' works are lost to time. WunderWulf probably got excepted because he was active on multiple boards, which might've boosted his popularity.

I have drawings of one of a discontinued quest on the old /quests/ board called LACK OF LOVE. You can use the characters from there but I don't remember their names exactly. Here is the link to a download of it: https://litter.catbox.moe/trynae.7z
Sadly it will only last for up to three days from now. For whatever reason, normal catbox wouldn't give me a link every time I uploaded the game. So the temporary version will have to do for now. Also have some drawings of the some of the characters featured in there.

Afraid not. We need at least 16, and even with everyone from this thread and a couple more I found on the booru, I don't think we can make a full team. Doesn't help we got a few characters whose names are unknown as well.

One thing I did notice from the booru: some images apparently came from /v/ or /co/. Would we be willing to expand our potential roster to include characters from quests held on other boards? Or should we stick strictly to /quests/ originals and verify all characters adhere to this condition?

If we're accepting protagonists from non-/quests/ quests, I got (You) and Fugg the Lugg, both from /b/ quests.

I found some archives of old quests that died on the old /quests/ board when 8chan was alive. Perhaps you can use these characters here? Although only one has art of the main character.

Can't believe I just discovered this place.
a super long time ago I was on the old /quest/ board on 8ch and actually ran a quest called Kindred Souls Quest but I felt I was spending too much time on it and had to focus on schooling so I shut down the quest and eventually forgot about the board as nothing happened there.
I also drew some fanart for another quest called Knight Quest as I liked his stuff. (last image)

Long time no see. I'm still surprised how it turned out you folks still keep this place running, how I found it in a completely random fashion, and how I realized I first started posting on /qu/ somewhere in 2014. I've never even asked for this nostalgia trainride.

I remember I was screencapping whole threads at some point, /quests/ ones too, shame I didn't use a thread dumper that would save the pictures. I'm certain I've archived the stuff that I ran myself, not sure about others' works. I should still have it stored somewhere if somebody wants some of that. Mine had no illustrations, though.

Wonder if there's still a chance to rekindle the activity and spin an epic tale or two.
