I specifically made this thread so I'd have a good place to mention how much I love the new Technic F1 car sets. This one especially. They're huge and really detailed.

I was going to post that the newest Minifig set has a classic Space figure with a space babby and then I realized that /lego/ doesn't even have a proper Minifigure thread!

I already have just the other day. Of the first kind anyway. It's just Bluey and her dalmatian friend. There's another one with the whole family at the beach that I'm on the look out for because it has pieces that I think will be useful in a build I'm wanting to put together.

The Tintin rocket set has a really interesting space minifig. 5 of in fact. Even if you don't particularly care about Tintin you might want to look into it if you're looking for some variety for a space build. I think the Artemis II set has some unique spacemen too.

Yeah there's a new one out. I'm also not sure where I got it in my head that the Artemis set had an astronaut because I checked and it doesn't. I was sure it came with one with a golden visored helmet. Something like what's in the center of image #2.

Wait so is this an actual console or not? I keep reading conflicting things about it online.
Yes it is, it has an arm processor in it that runs some simple games, the cartridges don't actually contain any data though they just have nfc labels that get scanned by a reader.

I seem to be getting addicted to the floral sets. I suppose I should give my feelings on them at some point but I think I need to do a few more of them to give them a fair shake.

Yeah they're real shoes. Apparently the idea is that you can attach little Lego doodads or minifigs on the studs or something. The odd thing is that it seems like they're not at standard Lego size. It's all very odd.

That's pretty funny but I'm a bit sad because from the thumb I thought it was a set with multi shaped pieces of a single color. Something like that would be pretty useful.

Some extra Paradisa info, since we don't have a specific thread for it or for the experimental girl Lego themes I posted it here. Maybe I should make such a thread?
Replies: >>1509

I guess I should have specified. 17 Rose is the actual true Paradisa pink color. It's pretty rare actually. The replacement colors as such (9 LRV & 222 LP) have been vering slowly away from 90's "vaporwave" pink to girly pink.

Minidolls! First released in 2012, they were exclusively used in the "girl" lines until The Lego Movie 2, after which time they immediately went back to being exclusively used in the girl lines. Minidolls have fewer points of articulation than minifigs and are thus more challenging to customize. Let's see your custom minidolls!

Glitched out on that one...

Friends mini-dolls are fun to customize and a bit more challenging to 'work' with in some aspects due to being more limited in articulation and parts selection. Find it also amusing that the first new point of articulation on a mini-doll comes from the one handed character Autumn. Her artificial hand has wrist articulation and wrist is part compatible.

I'm going to as soon as I can get setup of some sort to photograph them. One of them was a their new Christmas train that included their first 3D printed piece. It's actually a neat little thing. I think I'm going to remove the motor from my old lego train and put it on the new one. I never liked how it changed the look of the old one and I think it'll be much more hidden on the new one. My hope is that I can get another motor and build a custom train car for the old set and use it like a pusher motor to camoflage it in the set.

How many have you played, if any? Generally speaking I'm quite sour with TT after the unfinished mess that was the Hobbit game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they have a day-one DLC for that one? What sad times we must be living in where even Lego is not safe from the ravages of the modern video game market.
Anyway, holy shit do I wish they would do my ideas for Lego games, which they have done a bit of in LotR and Clone Wars. I also want to see Legos torture and murder each other, and I DO NOT want them speaking anything comprehensible. I want to crucify Lego dissidents for the glory of my Lego empire. I want to massacre entire cultures that happened to be in my way. Kids would eat that shit up because kids like edge, and parents generally don't give a fuck anymore what their children play. How would an E/E10+ FPS fair, do you think? Lego Sims-clone?

I've played all of those except for Drome Racers and Rock Raiders. I also briefly Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension, Lego Knights' Kingdom both for the GBA, and the original Lego Racers for N64. Out of those, I can only say that Lego Racers was any good.
There's also 2K Drive which is its own brand of terrible by being packed with microtransactions and online only features.
