The night was interrupted by severe coughing fits, to the point that my girlfriend kicked me out of bed xD
I slept better this morning and enjoyed my coffee before going out to run some errands.
Now I'm cooking a vegetable casserole for my next few nights of work while listening to music (Natural Snow Buildings is berry comfy).

I feel good and I hope eberryone else is doing well too :)

It’s a warm, sunlit autumn weekend, and I’m sitting here in the sunlight, writing a little about the week that’s just passed.

In a little while, I’ll head to the kitchen for some sourdough chocolate banana bread. There’ll be a few small challenges for me to face next week, but for now, the camellias in my garden are blooming beautifully.

This anon loves it that way. Kind of likes to subdivide most things which are preferential into fives or even sevens, not just binary and not even the "good/neutral/bad", but more like "extremely yes, yes, maybe, no, extremely no" or something like that.

Also woke up too early but at 10pm rather than my usual midnight to 2am awakening. Then napped two times until dawn because of particularly bad back aches and also bored and stuffed with chicken wings in jalapeno hummus + sour cream.

I think I might take a break from /comfy/ for a bit.  I tried as much as I could to provide interesting content for you all, hoping others wood enjoy it or join in, but I'm feeling burned out. The feedback/engagement has been weak for a while now, and I just struggle to see much point in continuing, but I wish you all well nonetheless.  If anyone wishes to see the puzzles continue, please join in.  I and another anon have been the only two people making puzzles for quite a while.

It was okay. Not bad, but slightly on the side of good. I didn't observe nearly as much horror material as I could have. But horror doesn't really spook me anymore, only being mildly entertaining and sort of interesting but only rarely: my real life and the surface world of "'normal' 'people'" is far more dreadful, vulgar, and hostile.

As far as I'm concerned, all of November is akin to Boxing Day but for Halloween. So I may be making up for lost time in September (Halloween Eve) or probably not.

All year can be fearful, for there's always a reason to be afraid.

Today started badly: I knocked over my coffee pot twice, the first time literally spilling all the coffee across the kitchen. I had to spend almost 30 minutes cleaning up. When the second pot of coffee was finally ready, I spilled almost half of it next to the cup while pouring.
It really pissed me off, and it's not a good start to the day.
Not to mention that I'm feeling melancholy (although it doesn't really bother me too much) and I'm having trouble waking up, my eyes are sticky. I'll feel better after I get washed up.
I listen to music while still in my pajamas, and at least it makes me feel good.
One more night of work and I'll be able to enjoy my weekend.

To the posts above, unless you're more or less satisfied with yourself, you shouldn't prioritize your community over yourself, because as you spend your time working on the community, your own deficiencies will grow and you'll end up only making things worse. I've noticed a change at work, we have a few that rally the troops eberry time there's a life event with coworkers - health emergencies, births, kids' birthdays, car repairs... I wish them well of course but I don't get involved. We have hundreds of employees and they really should have their own social circles in place.
