I guess I'll take you guys' word for it and go through VII and Hyperdevotion vanilla while waiting to see if U gains any traction.

It makes sense why you'd want to keep things consistent, especially important since you're not doing every game.  I'm probably in the minority of people who want things to match up just right with the nicknames/honorifics, but there are some cases where it effects other things too (NEPU being translated sometimes is the big one) that I'm sure others would like to see updated.

For future reference, is there any particular way that you guys like to see error reports like this?  Or what content you are most interested in (I'm not always sure if the "jokes" that pop up were intentionally left in or not)?  I tried to make it easy to find where in the script the problem was, but if there's a better way to do it I'd be happy to use it for any future releases.

Chapter One: >>3738

TL;DR from last thread: you escape school, wanted to become guild agent, lot of shit happening, including Overlord Momus, end up in a prison like thing for sex slaves, escape with a girl and her ex, back at Compa's apartment, now as a (pretty much) official guild agent, time to wrap this mess up. Also, Neptune is MIA.

Chapter Two

After finishing the breakfast, you start to aimlessly wander around in the house, until you meet Histoire.
"Oh, did you finish your breakfast already? The girl and the boy you rescued, they woke up in the meantime and currently they're in the bathroom."
"They're?" you wanted to ask, but realizing it's probably better to not meddle in, you just keep quiet.
"Anyway, we should move to the living room, the others will arrive shortly."

In the living room you find IF and Compa. Apparently IF is still upset, as Compa tries to reassure her. However, as she notices you, she quickly runs toward you, jumping into a hug, almost knocking you over.
"Anon, I'm so glad you're back alive desu! I was afraid I'll never see you again, that you died in an unknown place and…"
Your vision is completely filled with the soft sweater of the nurse. "I'm happy too, just don't squeeze me so hard, you're going to suffocate me!" You try to voice your disagreement, but the sweater completely muffles you. You almost prepare to die in the hands of Compa when she finally releases you.
"Oh, Histy didn't let me bandage you after the last time… But are you sure you're okay? I can check you to make sure…"

Yeah, that's true, I try to do 1 or 2 updates per day depending on how much free time and motivation I have and how much text I have to write and so on. I don't think a more regular update schedule would work, I could only really pull it of if the update interval would be increased to multiple days. But if you ever feel like I didn't give you enough time, say it! The negative consequence of using an anonymous imageboard is that there are no presence indicators, and anons sometime disappear for weeks, so I can't tell if someone is still thinking on his response or they just disappeared.

I suppose they aren't as incompatible as I originally thought.  This is what I usually end up doing, trying to combine the answers until something comes out that makes sense while still being faithful to the original answers as much as possible, hoping that nobody would mind it.

Easily digestible gameplay, interesting and colorful setting, mixed with very good voice talent on the Japanese side (vets from Steins;Gate, Gundam, Angel Beats, Nyaruko…hell, they even have one of the few people who were prominently in both versions of the Kino anime). Every game covers a different situation in gaming history; from the modern decay of the console side of the industry at present, the 80s crash, the Sega implosion that lead to their hardware exit…so on and so forth, generally in a lighthearted fashion (most of the time, there are some notable deviations). Sometimes, like pics related, it is even currently topical.

The devs themselves have also released the main games on PC as DRM free, and overall don't really do much messing around with the content when exporting to the west.

Tell me about the Nep, /nep/. I have never ever a Nep. Which game should I play first? Quick lookup showed that anime and manga exists about the Nep. Should I play the games or check out other media first? Which game do you recommend? Which is the best one? I see these Re;birth ones exist too.

To begin, I'd suggest you go with the first ReBirth. If you enjoy it, you may be hooked enough to go and try the two others. If not, the story is a stand alone so you won't be too invested into it.

As for the best, it depends from one's favorite to another, but VII is often one of the most appreciated. Don't go on it before doing at least ReBirth 2 and 3, though.

Anime is basically a fast recap of the three ReBirths, with small variations that makes it enjoyable on its own, but watching it means you'll be spoiled for three games at once, which can be a problem if you enjoy the story and characters.

INSTALATION
1. Install the above torrent
2. go to http://www.kisskiss.tv/cm3d2/update.php and download the アップデータ Ver.1.31, this patch should bring your 1.26 version to 1.31, you can check if it worked on the start screen, click the gear icon and then the 3rd icon from the left. To actually install it, throw all the .exe files and folders into the root of your installation, you know, the palce that has the same folders and .exe files, overwrite the files and launch the only new .exe in the folder which should be called "update"
3. On the same site, under the grey boxes, there's another link, this is a hotfix to a patch, you apply it the same way
4. Now comes the actually shitty part, the DLC's

You should install EVERYTHING from the above pastebin, I did it one-by-one but the MEGA link includes a document with how to make a all-in-one DLC installer, but I couldn't get that way to work, do note that the list is updated when there are new DLC's, you should be able to sort the files by date in the MEGA link to see what's the new stuff that you hanve't installed yet
YOU INSTALL THE DLC THE SAME WAY YOU DID THE UPDATE
5. After all that is done you should have a fully functional game with all the content, so let's get some translations going
